Boy problem...haha help meee? :)?

ok welll. im 15 and just finished freshman year. there was this boy in my math class who is sooo cute and really funny and nice. we talked a lot throughout the semester and flirted a little and i started to really like him and i thought he MAYBE liked me a little although this was never really confirmed. i was planning on getting his number on the last day of school, but he ended up not coming. so i got his number from a friend and texted him asking where he was. he never answered. later on i had my friend call him to see if his phone was working and he answered. so im a little confused. do you think i should just give up and forget about him over the summer? i know he goes away to camp for a little while and i dont want to text him again and seem like a stalker. what should i do??
